Gerhard is a Managing Partner at Boyden Bad Homburg, and since his election in 2005 has been a Director on the Board of Boyden World Corporation. He is a leader in the board search, consumer products, financial services, human resources, industrial and life sciences & healthcare practice groups.

With a strong background at all levels of personnel and human resources management, Gerhard has worked with some of the most prestigious multinational organizations in Germany. His experience includes handling board and general management HR for the Quandt Family group of companies. He also served on the board of Milupa AG, and there was responsible for the personnel and law division for the entire European Milupa Group.

He subsequently became a personnel and HR consultant, and prior to joining Boyden worked with other highly-ranked executive search companies.

Gerhard studied humanities at the Johann Wolfgang v. Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main. He also holds a doctorate in Philosophy.
