Dirk Friederich started his professional career as an international trainee with NESTLE in Germany. During his nine year NESTLE-career he undertook several assignments in Sales and Marketing like Brand Manager Culinary Products, Key-Account-Manager Buitoni Pasta, Head of Field-Sales-Organization as well as Marketing Director for the Joint Venture NESTLE and GENERAL MILLS, CPW (Cereal Partners Worldwide).

In 1995 he was recruited to RAY & BERNDTSON, a global executive search firm. He was promoted to Partner in 1999 and was elected to become an Equity Partner in 2000. During that time he specialized in Financial Services and in Consumer/Retail with a broad functional expertise.

In 2004 he moved on to WHITEHEAD MANN as a Joint Managing Partner for Germany before joining BOYDEN global executive search.
